Melanie Marshall, Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach & Owner of Ethereal Wellness Health, Wellness & Performance Coaching

Melanie was adopted as a baby after her birth mother used drugs and alcohol during birth, leaving Melanie with permanent damage to her organs, lymphatic & immune system.

As she grew up, she endured severe discomfort from meals, and outdoor activities at school—recess, gym, or even handling supplies—making it hard to stay conscious, breathe, or keep food down, often sending her to the nurses which led to the start of her medical journey at only 14 where she was invited to participate in a autoimmune & autism program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where a full set of tests (blood work, EKG, MRI, CT) revealed an autoimmune disorder and ulcers in the colon lymphatic regions.

Due to to her autoimmune condition, chemo posed too many risks that she was not comfortable with so she began a long trial-and-error journey with a team of specialists in holistic health, gastroenterology, infectious disease, immunology, and lymphatic drainage.

They taught her how to manage food and water processing, recommended mold and toxin exposure testing, and helped identify anti-inflammatory foods. They supported rebuilding with vitamins, minerals, digestive enzymes, and hormones, while guiding her to reduce inflammation and toxins through organic, real foods, intermittent fasting, fascia-focused stretches, and exercise.

Today, Melanie follows a strict daily protocol to feel and function at her best, adjusting to daily shifts in her immune system, environment, and diet. In the gym, she includes fascia stretching between workouts. People often ask her to demonstrate stretches for the hips, glutes, thighs, calves, back, pelvis, and shoulders using a medicine ball to release years of physical and mental tension and restore alignment.

Her mission is to teach fascia stretching at home—morning or night, and around work—to release deep muscle tension, improve blood circulation, improve mobility, improve mood, drain toxins, reduce injury and boost vitality.
